East Oakland, Ca is a hood made up of Black and POC resilient people, grind culture and creative social environments. Commonly referred to as deep East Oakland, these historically redlined communities still face serval socio-economic challenges today. Despite these challenges, the stride towards social and economic improvements runs deep here and a good number of residents envision better neighborhoods, with the same neighbors.
