Haiti is a beautiful place with strong people and rich culture. Haiti is the first Black-led republic to declare their freedom and independence from their colonizer. Although free and independent today, Haiti has struggled to sustain socio-economic stability due to political complexities and natural disasters. Infrastructure has barely been rebuilt since the last earthquake. Orchestrated crime and violence continues to disrupt the daily life of individuals trying to make an income or get an education. Jean Paul Sartre College is a school in Aquin in need of resources to adequately support their students.
Meet Marcso Jean, Principal of Jean Paul Sartre College and hear student testimonies of how the economic and political challenges across Haiti affects their education and family.

Currently the computer lab is down due to a broken generator.
